My favorite food in soldotna

This restaurant has been a part of Soldotna for a long time. They have a great room for larger gatherings and the staff are very friendly. Their pizza is very good. They check ingredients for allergies and are willing to cook to accommodate allergies.

Bad food bad attitudes and need better customer service.

Visiting from out of town memorial day 2019 and found this place. My husband and I loved the food and great service. Finally found a chef that knows how to pan sear vegetables with great flavors. Rice was just right, not dry nor undercooked. In my opinion, the best Mexican food in Alaska.

Used to be great several years back, but now it is only tolerable. There are other Mexican food options around town which are much better.

Great food, but they need air conditioning, especially with the recent heat wave. We sizzled almost as much as the fajitas we ordered. Enchiladas were fantastic.

f I could give zero stars I would. 12 people in the place and it took 25 minutes for 3 margaritas on the rocks. Food was soggy and bland, lettuce brown and wilted, just bad all around. Because of the delay I asked the server for a discount on the drinks and the manager came over and informed me that she couldn’t do anything for us but a $10 promo and when I asked why she couldn’t do an $18 promo since that would equal what I had asked for she became rude and snappy and got major attitude. I informed her at that point to just give us the $10 because I would rather leave than wait to discuss it with her manager and I will just never return. That’s three of us and hopefully anyone else I can tell. NEVER AGAIN.

The best Authentic Mexican food in the northern hemisphere!

My whole family loves to eat here. The food is always excellent and very authentic. I think they have had the same staff all the years I've eaten here and they are amazing and always ready to accommodate. When we have family from out of town we always make reservations for our big group dinners here.

Best Mexican Food in Alaska. Went there last night. Wait was longer than expected but man o man... it was well worth it. The Chili Verde was great. I am self claimed Chili Verde Connoisseur. It was so good I asked the chef to come out and told him how delicious it was. I highly recommend this place . My friend had the Chili Rellenos and loved them. I will eat here again next time I am in Soldotna.

Let me start with the service is good, albeit slow, as the server makes your margaritas. The drinks were tasty!We had a group of 9 plus an infant, and the food was ok. They were out of queso, which is kind of unheard of at a Mexican restaurant. Salsa choices were somewhat bland, including the spicy.The fajitas were decent, but not seasoned at all, really. The caramelized onions were quite tasty.

Great food and amazing drinks. Always clean even on busy summer days. Always a happy and fun staff. If there is something you don't like they will do their best to try and fix the problem. Great for a quick stop and eat or a romantic dinner. They have a nice party room for large groups. Just all around a great place to go and eat or have a few drinks.

Best street tacos in town, mango smoothie with soda water is 👌. And the manager is super sweet. Always have a good experience when I eat here.

Always love there food and customer service

I've ordered here three times and the food is great! My only problem is that the two times I ordered drinks, theres always dirt or something in it.

Of the three Mexican restaurants in Soldotna this is the worst. The food is terrible as well as the service. I had a chile relleno absolutely the worst. The sauce was a brown gravy with no taste. I also ordered a carne asada taco. The meat was burnt and no flavor. If you want really good Mexican eat at either of the other 2 restaurants, Sr. Pancho or Accupaulo restaurant. Sorry but the bathrooms were dirty as well.

By far, this is the best Mexican Restaurant in town. Food is delicious, friendly staff, fast service, best margaritas ever, prices are good. I love te place!

This place has improved enormously in the past ten years I've been there both in Homer and Soldatna, Alaska. Ten years ago, they used by cabbage for lettuce and had the most watered down margaritas you ever tasted. One star food then, but now really hitting the Tex-Mex with good force. One thing that hasn't changed is that they hire the nicest staff of people . Beautiful Alaskan flowers and water fountains. Homer has a patio for dining and tons of Mexican kitsch.

Been coming in for several years, the margaritas are very good and the spicy/hot Camorones Diabla are well worth the trip. Service is reasonable and restaurant is roomy.

Amazing mexican food!

My family and I were looking forward to enjoying a meal here. Apparently this establishment has taken a backslide in its food quality. The wait staff was kind and attentive, which is why I gave it two stars. The food was terrible. I have had better meals at fast food than here. I hope they look to improve in the near future.

The best Calamari on the Kenai Peninsula

A little disappointing. The service was great. The plate for the toddler wasn't as hot as the others. The food was not good. Not truly bad. but not good. We thought it would be like the Don Jose's in Homer, so we were let down.

It was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and the food was quite good. We will eat there again...

Excellent food and ambiance

What a waste of time and money, we have been dining at this resteraunt for years and this us the first time we all were disappointed with our meals. No flavor, not what we remember.We will not be back.

The carne asada burrito was okay, the beans and rice, I wouldn't do again. Service was a little slower than I expected; we were the first ones there for lunch. We probably won't go back again. Hubby didn't care for it much.

Service eas slow. Good food but a very long wait. Prices were high.

My husband and I had dinner last night. The food was delicious and the lady who served us was very attentive and friendly although she was the only one there. She did a great job!

Have been going here for years and have always gotten a great meal ... however tonight was different ... ordered a Chicken taco salad ... which I have ordered several times before over the years ... I was so awful I couldn’t eat it ... it was soupy and the chicken tasted like can chicken... made me nauseous ... I could not eat it ... hopefully my chickens will eat it ... I complained and asked for a manager ... no manager around ... they took $5 off a meal I couldn’t eat!!!!

Pretty bland, idk how you can make Mexican food flavorless but they have mastered the art had to make side orders of spices which they charged us for to make it taste like Mexican food
